Position Summary:

As a Loan Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our loan department by assisting with documentation, processing, and customer support. This position is ideal for detail-oriented, dependable individuals who thrive on accuracy, organization, and teamwork.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with Loan Officers and Analysts to ensure timely and efficient loan closings by preparing, processing, and ordering essential documents.
• Maintain complete, up-to-date credit files and oversee record-keeping for the loan system, including data entry and error resolution.
• Process loan payments, advances, and draws, and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and care.
• Order necessary services, such as appraisals and credit reports, to facilitate the loan process.
• Track and manage critical items like insurance, financial statements, and tax returns to ensure compliance and completeness.
• Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell Kentland Bank’s products and services, referring customers to appropriate team members.
• Participate in team meetings and training programs to continually grow your knowledge and skills.
